The Flat offers charming self catering accommodation in Stromness. Our flat in Orkney is only 2 minutes from the bus station and ferry terminal, making us a great base for exploring the local area.

Our delightful ground floor flat is perfect for a relaxing holiday whilst being in the ideal location for touring the area. The flat is tastefully furnished and well-equipped to suit all your needs.

The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up some home-cooked delights: washing machine, microwave and freezer etc. You can unwind in the cosy living area which comes with comfortable seating and a TV.

A lovely bedroom has a double bed to rest your head on at night. The bathroom has a WC and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided on request.

Visiting Stromness & Exploring Orkney

We are just a stone’s throw from the seafront and close to the cafes, shops, pubs, post office and a small supermarket. The town of Stromness is a historic town with atmospheric narrow streets and independent shops. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy walking, cycling, diving, sailing and golfing. Famous attractions include the Stromness Museum, Ring of Brodgar and Maeshowe. Further attractions to visit include:
