Middle Lodge offers charming self catering accommodation in Aberfeldy. The property was once the head keeper's house for Castle Menzies and is surrounded by stunning countryside and offers wonderful views of the Tay Valley. We are ideal for an unforgettable holiday in Perthshire.

Accommodation

Our delightful lodge sleeps up to 6 people and is the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The lodge is beautifully furnished and comes with a range of excellent facilities.

On the ground floor is a spacious and bright open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The living area comes with Freeview TV, a DVD player and an open log/coal fire. A modern kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave etc. On the ground floor there is also a double room and bathroom.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and both can be made as a twin or super king. The newly renovated family bathroom has a fabulous free-standing bath and shower.

Outside there is a lovely BBQ area with seating, great for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Visiting Aberfeldy & Exploring Perthshire

While staying with you can explore the Upper Tay Valley and gorgeous countryside. Aberfeldy is a small market town and the heart of all that goes on in the Upper Tay Valley. The area has wonderful walks to enjoy, including lots of beautiful single-track back roads, such as the road from Amulree to Kenmore, through Glenquaich and over the hill into Kenmore which has glorious views of Loch Tay. Edinburgh is around 1 ½ hours away and has an array of brilliant attractions to see, including Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile. Alternatively, head to Aviemore and enjoy the ski slopes of Cairngorm. Further attractions to visit include:

Croft Moraig Stone Circle.
Bolfracks Estate & Gardens.
The Birks of Aberfeldy.
Moness Burn.
