Island Cottage offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Salcombe. We are only a few minutes from the town centre and the passenger ferry which take you to gorgeous beaches and coves in Porthlemouth. We truly are perfect for an unforgettable break in a beautiful part of Devon.

Accommodation

Our charming 4 bed terraced cottage is elegantly furnished, well-equipped, light and airy, ideal for the ultimate coastal getaway. The cottage sleeps up to 6 adults and 2 children.

The open plan living area is a great place to relax with a coffee after a day on the beach. You can stay toasty in front of the wood burning stove and the large dining table leads to a fully equipped, separate kitchen and utility room.

On the first floor there is a king en suite room which leads to a delightful balcony area with a table and chairs. This is the perfect spot for relaxing with a glass of wine whilst enjoying breathtaking views over Fish Quay. Three further bedrooms are available: a flexible king/twin, bunk room and a double which boasts sea views. On the ground floor there is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Visiting Salcombe & Exploring Devon

We are based in Island Street, the maritime quarter of Salcombe, home to the famous Salcombe Gin Distillery. You can explore the many shops in Island Street and Fore Street, from sailing gear to wonderful home furnishings, there is something for everyone. When the sun is shining, you have lots of amazing beaches to enjoy, including Mill Bay which has lots of space to enjoy. The whole family can enjoy Pennywell Farm, a multi award winning farm activity park with animals, activities, shows, displays and rides. Further attractions to visit include:
