Skylark offers outstanding self catering accommodation just outside the village of Sibbertoft. Based in a spectacular lakeside setting near Market Harborough, we are perfect for an idyllic holiday. We are in a great location for exploring the gorgeous countryside of Leicestershire and a variety of brilliant attractions.

Accommodation

Our stunning lodge has been designed to nestle perfectly beside the lake for a truly unique getaway. The lodge sleeps up to 6 people and offers elegant botanical interiors to create a welcoming feel.

The pet friendly lodge comes with everything you need for a special holiday. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances: a fridge, oven and microwave. The dining area is great for enjoying some delicious home-cooked delights on. You can unwind in the cosy lounge which comes with a flat screen smart TV, DAB radio and comfy seating. A sofa bed is also available to sleep an additional 2 people.

Two wonderful bedrooms are available: a king and twin room. Both rooms come with quality mattresses, Egyptian cotton bedding and sumptuous, velvet cushions. Two separate bathrooms are available. All bed linen and towels are included.

While the sun is shining you can relax with a glass of wine on the veranda while savouring the glorious lake views.

Onsite we have a fabulous 5 acre coarse fishing lake, stocked with carp, tench and perch. Fishing is included in the cost for lodge stays.

Visiting Sibbertoft & Exploring Leicestershire

The local area is a haven for nature lovers. You can enjoy a beautiful walk 1 mile south of Welford in the stunning former grounds of Hemploe Hall. Scenic canal walks at Foxton Locks are perfect for a leisurely stroll and The Jurassic Way footpath just outside Sibbertoft begins at a magical reservoir. The area is also renowned for majestic historical houses; visit Althorp house, home to the Spencer family of nearly 500 years or see the magnificent ten-acre garden at Coton Manor.
