Accommodation

Our property is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and ideal for families, couples or groups of friends looking for somewhere special to stay. The house is private, sleeps up to 8 people and enjoys delightful views of the garden.

This beautifully renovated property had a wonderful extension added using sustainable materials. All the wooden floors have underfloor heating through a ground source heat pump and solar hot water panels. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and a number of painting and prints by local artists adorn the walls.

On the ground floor we ahve a lovely open plan area to relax in. The living area comes with a double-sided wood-burning stove, 40’’ LED TV with Freeview, DVD player, table football, games, puzzles and comfy seating. The spacious kitchen/dining area has a Range master cooker with two ovens, Miele fridge-freezer, Miele dishwasher, plus washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and a full supply of cooking equipment. Doors open onto a pretty slate patio area with a table, chairs and BBQ. The perfect place for a morning coffee whilst enjoying views of the garden, brimming with local wildlife.

Four bedrooms are available: three double rooms and a bunk room. Two of the doubles have en suite facilities. A separate bathroom is also available.

Visiting Cilycwm & Exploring Carmarthenshire

We are close to Llandovery which is on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park. Visitors can enjoy walking, bird-watching, cycling, mountain-biking and other outdoor pursuits. You can also enjoy lots of walks from the lodge and around Cilycwm, Rhandirmawn and Llyn Brianne Reservoir. Dinas RSPB Nature Reserve offers a walk along the river. Lots of attractions are in the local area:

Dinefwr Castle.
Pembrey Sands.
Aberglasney Garden.
National Botanic Garden.
Carreg Cennen Castle.
