The Annexe provides luxury self-catering accommodation on the outskirts of the village of Abbotsham. We offer wonderful views of the sea across green fields to Lundy Island, offering an ideal setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating break. You can spend your days surfing, walking and exploring one of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby, or simply stay at home to enjoy all the amenities the property has to offer, including a private pool, hot tub, tennis court and ping pong table.

Accommodation

The Annexe was once part of a traditional seventeenth-century Devon longhouse and now offers award-winning accommodation. The property offers charming, original character combined with modern facilities, making it the perfect stay for families, friends and couples alike.

The property comes equipped with three TVs (in the living room and bedrooms), a woodburner, wifi and good mobile phone service. The well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of facilities, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and washer-dryer.

Bedrooms consist of a downstairs superking and a spacious upstairs family suite with a king-size double and 2 single beds. Both rooms are ensuite.

Outside we have a private hot tub and 30ft heated swimming pool (open April to October), plus a full-size tennis court (shared with the owners) and ping pong table. The outside terrace is perfect for watchig the sun set over the coast with a glass of wine in the evening.

Visiting Abbotsham & Exploring Devon

Situated right in the heart of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty, The Annexe is just a short walk from some of the best coastal paths in the country. While staying with us you can explore Abbotsham village, home to a charming pub, village hall, playground and two churches, or take a picturesque stroll (25 mins) to the coast. To keep the children entertained, the village also has The BIG Sheep, the Milky Way Adventure Park and The Ultimate Adventure Centre. The town of Bideford is only a 7-min drive away, while the lovely sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are just 10 mins. Some of the country's most famous surf breaks, including Croyde Bay, Woolcombe and Bude, are all just a short drive away too.
