Horseshoe Cottage offers fantastic self catering accommodation in the historic village of Draycott in-the-Moors. Located just inside the Peak District near Stoke-on-Trent, we are the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We are only a short drive from lots of brilliant attractions in Staffordshire.

Accommodation

Newly converted from a stable block, our cosy cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is very family-friendly. We have a stairgate, travel cot and lots of outdoor space for children to play in.

You can unwind in the relaxing lounge and there is also an entertainment room to enjoy with surround sound. The cottage also comes with smart TVs. A bespoke kitchen comes with an oven, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer, wine cooler, washer dryer, dishwasher, storage larder and extendable dining table. Underfloo0r heating will keep you warm in the winter months.

Three bedrooms are available. The ground floor double has use of the wet room which is next door, making it suitable for people with limited mobility. Please note there is one small step. A second double comes with en suite facilities and the third room has two small double beds and use of its own bathroom. All the bedrooms have lovely views over the private garden or courtyard.

The private garden comes with a seating area, perfect for a morning coffee whilst the sun is shining. A BBQ and summerhouse are also available.

Our cottage is the perfect base for exploring lots of superb attractions in the local area. We near to Uttoxeter Race Course, Alton Towers, Trenton Gardens and Monkey Park/Wold, ensuring the whole family can be kept entertained. Outdoor enthusiasts will love exploring the gorgeous Peak District which was the first National Park created in England. Brilliant attractions in the local area include:
