Visiting Harrogate & Exploring North Yorkshire
The house is a 2 minutes walk from The Stray and a 15 minutes walk from Christchurch. The local shops on Kings Road are reached either via Grove Road and Chatsworth Place (across Skipton Road) by turning right out of Regent Grove and crossing at the traffic lights - Kings Road is opposite the Esso filling station and a local CoOp. You also have a One Stop Shop by turning left onto Skipton Road and a variety of other shops as you walk towards Christchurch and the Yorkshire Showground. Best access is by turning right at the roundabout and left into Oakland’s Drive- the entrance is at the bottom of Oatlands Drive ( only accessible to pedestrians except during The Great Yorkshire Show)Access to Harrogate Conference/International Centre/Turkish Baths - walk to Skipton Road, cross at pedestrian crossing and walk down Dragon Road- passing Asda on your way- at roundabout continue straight ahead- cross the road and after a few yards you see a tunnel under the railway - go through tunnel and continue down the hill- Conference centre is at the bottom. Google says 12 minutes.
There are over 250 bars restaurants and pubs in Harrogate for you to choose from and new ones open all the time! There are walks from your front door.

Due to the age of the property the stairs are steep with narrow treads and unsuited to toddlers and infirm. Stair gates cannot be fitted.
We can provide travel cots and high chairs on request at no cost. You will require your own bedding for the travel cot.
