Dorlands House offers luxurious self catering accommodation in Chepstow and is perfect for a special occasion away. Our spacious property in Monmouthshire is beautifully furnished and enjoys outstanding countryside views.
The large kitchen boasts a flagstone floor, granite doors, an Aga and a range of appliances. You can unwind and relax in the spacious living room. This lovely space has wooden flooring, rich rugs, silk curtains and a crackling fire.
Six large bedrooms are available and we offer flexible sleep arrangements. We have doubles or singles to choose from. All bed linen and towels are provided. There are contemporary bathrooms for guests to use.
French doors from the living area open onto the south west facing patio and gardens. The patio comes with a hot tub, garden furniture and a BBQ. This is the ideal place for a spot of al fresco dining whilst admiring the views. Our grounds are perfect for throwing a frisbee, kicking a ball about or strolling around.
We also have a charming shepherd’s hut which can be combined with a house to sleep up to 17 people – please enquire for details.
In Chepstow you can visit Chepstow Museum. The Georgian townhouse has nostalgic displays on the history of Chepstow and the River Wye. Port Wall and Town Gate was built in the 13th Century and is perfect for strolling around. Further afield you can explore the Forest of Dean, Welsh Castles, Puzzlewood, The Speech House, The Sculpture Trail, Offas Dyke Path and Tarus Crafts. A variety of attractions are in the local area, including:
Brecon Beacons.
Wye Valley.
Chepstow Racecourse.
