Macaulay Cottage offers self catering accommodation in Grosebay on the Isle Of Harris. Our property in the Western Isles is surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for an idyllic break away.

Accommodation

Our traditional 4 bedroom stone built cottage sleeps up to 7 people and is ideal for all the family.
On the lower there is a dining room, sitting room, kitchen, one twin bedroom and single bedroom and a WC and shower. On the upper floor there are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower.

Facilities include a fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, CD player, DVD player, Smart TV, broadband connection, hair dryer and garden furniture. Travel cot and high chair available.

Outside is a fenced garden with seating. This is the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining.

Check in is after 4pm and checkout is by 10am. Outdoor storage available for kayaks, bikes and any outdoor equipment.

Visiting Grosebay & Exploring the Western isles

There is an abundance of things to do on the island including walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, sailing, birdwatching and watersports. Alternatively you can visit a range of attractions such as Callanish Standing Stones, St Clement's Chuch, Scarp and Clisham to name but a few. A short drive or bus run will take you to the beaches on the west side of Harris. An hour's drive will take you to the Callanish Stones and the Blackhouse Village in Lewis.

Rates: From £450 to £695 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 7 people.
Ok for people with limited mobility, there is a walk-in shower and loo downstairs, plus two rooms on the ground floor.
Children are welcome.
Pets are welcome.
