Tigh Phadruig offers self catering accommodation in Shawbost on the Isle of Lewis. Our property boasts stunning views of the surroundings hills and the Atlantic Ocean, perfect of a peaceful getaway on the Western Isles.

Accommodation

The house was originally built in 1956 but has been fully modernised to offer comfortable and relaxing accommodation.

The ground floor has a spacious kitchen/diner, sitting room, family shower room and double bedroom. Upstairs there is a further double bedroom, twin room and a washroom with a WC and washbasin. Lots of parking is available at the house.

To the front of the house, you can enjoy glorious views of the surrounding hills. 2 of the 3 windows from the kitchen offer stunning views from the Atlantic Ocean. From the third window you can enjoy views of the surrounding croft land.

Visiting Shawbost & Exploring the Western Isles

We are only a short 15 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach or a short drive to Dalbeag or Dalmore Beach. The Norse Mill is a short drive away and lots of glorious coastal walk can be enjoyed locally. Within driving distance are Garenin Black House in Carloway and Doune Broch. Callanish Stones, Whalebone Arch in Bragar and Arnol Black House are all within drive distance as well. Art lovers can visit Oiseval Gallery in Brue and Morven Gallery in Barvas and a 25 minute drive takes you to the Butt of Lewis lighthouse at Port of Ness.
