The Barn

A beautifully renovated barn on the outskirts of North Berwick, surrounded by stunning farmland, offers a peaceful location just a short walk from the beach, town center, and train station to Edinburgh. Ideal for exploring North Berwick's award-winning beaches and vibrant High Street with its independent shops, bars, and restaurants.

Dating back to 1890, the barn was restored in 2017 into a five-star luxury holiday home, winning the Herald Property Award for 'Best Renovation/Conversion in Scotland'. It features ample private parking, a secure garden with outdoor dining furniture, and a Weber charcoal BBQ.

Inside, the barn includes a utility room, a Poggenpohl kitchen with Siemens appliances, and a living/dining area with a RAIS log burner and SMART TV. The mezzanine den has a SMART TV, PS4, and gaming chair. Downstairs are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The upstairs principal bedroom has an ensuite with Duravit fittings. The property boasts underfloor heating, oak flooring, and triple glazing. Fluffy towels, bathrobes, high chairs, and travel cots are provided. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Our accommodation is only a 15-minute walk from the high street and a 10 minute walk from the beach. This lovely seaside town is home to an eclectic mix of shops, cafes and bars as well as world renowned golf courses. North Berwick is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in East Lothian, which include:

National Museum of Flight.
Dirleton Castle.
Bass Rock.
Yellowcraigs.

Plus so much more. No matter how long you stay you will find that the area has plenty to do to fill your days.
