Accommodation

Our charming holiday home has been newly renovated and offers spacious and comfortable accommodation. Throughout the property you can enjoy glorious sea views. Offering a blend of modern decor (with oak flooring) and antique furnishings, our cottage is perfect for relaxing in. The property sleeps up to 4 people in 2 double bedrooms. The master bedroom has views over to Leverburgh, while the second bedroom looks out toward the hills at the back of the house. There is also a bathroom with a bath over the shower.

The property has a fully equipped kitchen with a range of excellent appliances including dishwasher and freezer. Guests can relax and unwind in the tastefully furnished lounge. There is a flat screen TV with Sky.

Outside is garden bench and BBQ, the perfect place to relax and admire the glorious views.

Visiting Kintulavig & Exploring the Western Isles

Kindulavig comprises of a few crofters and fishermen’s cottages just outside Leverburgh. It is an idyllic setting for a holiday cottage elevated high enough to overlook Leverburgh, but surrounded by moorland, mountains and lochs. If your into fishing you can obtain a permit (Obbe Fishing)in the village and off you go. Leverburgh has a community shop, restaurants and runs a ferry service to Uist. You can watch the ferry from the cottage as it meanders across the Sound of Harris on its daily commute.

Visit Uist, this is possibly one of the few spots on Lewis and Harris where it’s possible to include a day trip to Uist. This is also the harbour where Kilda Cruises depart on their trips to St.Kilda. An island totally on the edge and a must for bird watchers and lovers of wild places. Journey time to Tarbert, the main town and ferry terminal on Harris is roughly thirty minutes, but can take hours if you stop to admire the scenery. You pass miles of white sandy beaches en-route to Berneray Cottage, the colours are more tropical than you could imagine. No wonder it is classed as one of the worlds top ten islands.

Lettings are from 4.00 pm on Saturday to 10.00 am the following Saturday.
