Chestnut Lodge in Pilling offers superb self catering accommodation in a traditional log cabin which is on a charming beef farm. Our cabin near Preston in Lancashire enjoys wonderful views of open fields and is surrounded by its own garden. We are the perfect place to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Accommodation

The lodge is ideal for families or a small group looking for a memorable holiday away. The lodge accommodates 4 people in a king size and a twin room. A cot and high chair are available upon request. The lodge has a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen which comes with an array of excellent facilities including a dishwasher. There is also a utility room with washing facilities.

There is a cosy and relaxing open plan living/dining area with a gas fired log burner as well as under floor heating.

Chestnut Lodge has its own driveway and private secure garden with a patio area and garden furniture, the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining.

Visiting Pilling & Exploring Lancashire

Within easy reach are Blackpool and Morecambe seaside resorts, the Lake District National Park and the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Beauty. The area is rich in wildlife, especially birds. Just before dawn the resident Tawny owls and the Barn owls are frequently seen flying past the lodge and down the open fields and after dark the bats come out to play. We are also an ideal base for bird watching, fishing, walking or cycling.
