Summary

Jupiter Lodge offers superb self catering accommodation in a beautiful rural part of Cornwall at Upton Cross. Based near Liskeard, we are an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of the country, and are within a 30-minute drive of sandy beaches and the popular Eden Project.

Accommodation

This modern and well equipped holiday home can sleep up to 8 people and for a family or friends looking for somewhere special to stay.

Our luxurious cottage comes with a well-equipped kitchen with an island unit, a dining suite and lounge area with comfortable seating for all. The lodge comes with smart TVs. French doors open onto a splendid sun terrace which boasts stunning views over open countryside.

To the rear of the property on the ground floor, an inner lobby leading off the lounge area gives access to a double bedroom with an en suite wet room with a shower, W.C. and hand basin, and a smaller bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds. Stairs lead up from the lounge to the first-floor landing where there is a family bathroom with a bath, W.C. and hand basin, and two pleasantly furnished bedrooms: a twin-bedded double room at the rear and a master bedroom with a king-sized double bed to the front of the house. The master bedroom has panoramic views from a railed balcony of the surrounding countryside and an en suite shower room with W.C. and hand basin. All of the bedrooms at the cottage are made up ready for your arrival. We also provide towels for guests to use during their stay

Outside there is a paved patio area with unobstructed views towards Kit Hill. It has a BBQ together with a table and chairs, and an adjoining 1-acre paddock. A garden shed houses 2 bicycles which guests are welcome to use.

Visiting Upton Cross & Exploring Cornwall

The area has something for everyone and there are plenty of places to stop off at for a bite to eat and something to drink. There are 2 public houses serving good food within 1.5 miles, a post office and general store in the village of Upton Cross. We are also close to open moorland and the village of Minions which is situated at the foot of Caradon Hill. This is a world heritage site where moorland horses roam freely. The moor landscape is scattered with the remains of the old engine houses from the mining era, providing a mysterious reminder of the local mining heritage in Poldark Country. A range of excellent attractions are in the local area:
