Acharossan Cottages - Lilybank, Inveryne and Acharosan House offer charming self catering accommodation in Kilfinan. We are based near Loch Fyne and the Kyles of Bute, making us the perfect place for exploring Argyll.

Accommodation

We have 3 properties to choose from, with all enjoying an individual character. Each house is well-equipped and perfect for a romantic retreat or family gathering.

Acharossan House

Our period property is nestled in a secluded location amidst 1200 acres of farmland and sleeps up to 11 people. Outside there is a tennis court and a terrace garden with a BBQ for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

The spacious house comes with lots of character and has a large open kitchen/conservatory with a range of appliances including a dishwasher. There is a library with Sky TV and a sitting room with two open log fires. In total, there are 5 bedrooms, including 2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 bunk room and 1 single four-poster.

Inveryne Cottage

We offer accommodation for up to 4 people in Inveryne Cottage. The cottage retains lots of original features and offers outstanding views. Outside there is a garden with garden furniture, offering a great spot for a coffee in the morning sun. You have use of a private tennis court down the lane.

Unwind in the open plan living and dining area that comes with a wood burner and TV. You can also relax in the conservatory whilst enjoying the far-reaching views. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin room.

Lilybank Cottage

Our 18th Century cottage is based in a peaceful position off the main road. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people and offers a country character feel. Outside the garden decking offers views over the bank to the river.

Inside there is a large conservatory and a sitting room with a TV and open fire, plus sea and garden views. The kitchen is well-equipped with a range of appliances. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom and shower room. A large attic can be used to sleep older children.

Visiting Kilfinan & Exploring Argyll

Our properties are in a great position for exploring the area, home to hills, lochs, coastline and historic attractions. Activities in the area include walking, cycling sailing, golfing and fishing. Glasgow is only 2 hours away and there is a local golf course in Kames that offers 9 holes. Attractions to visit include:

Inveryne Beach.
Kilfinan Bay.
Tarbert Golf Club.
Ettrick Bay.
Mount Stuart.
