About Miner's Cottage

On the ground floor of this wonderful holiday cottage is a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove and breathtaking views from the living room window. This leads on to a spacious kitchen/dining room which is well equipped and includes all the utensils you may need during your stay.

A utility room with washer & dryer and a downstairs WC with washbasin can also be found on the ground floor.

Both bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and the 2nd room has twin beds. The family bathroom is spacious and has a shower over the bath.

Gas, heating, electric, bedding and one set of towels per person are included in the booking. A high chair and travel cot are available on request. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the entire cottage.

The lake District is a stunning destination for those who are looking for peace, relaxation and tranquillity. The holiday cottage is nestled at the foot of the Coniston Old Man and is only a short walk from some lovely tea rooms, cafes and traditional Lakeland pubs. There are many activities available nearby; Fishing with a rod licence is allowed from many of the public shores, numerous mountain trails are available for cyclists and the Grizedale Forest.
