The Old Sunday School Room offers fantastic self-catering accommodation near the village of Trecaslte in Powys. We are close to the Brecon Beacons National Park where there are stunning waterfalls and forests to enjoy.

Accommodation

We offer accommodation for 4-6 people, perfect for families or couples. The cottage has been tastefully revolted and offers lovely views.

Inside we have a fully equipped kitchen that offers everything guests will need including a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven and touchscreen hob. There is also a dining area that looks out over the breathtaking countryside.

The comfortable lounge area has a log-burning stove, flat-screen TV with Freesat, DVD player and shelves that offer books, guides and board games. There is a cloakroom where you will find a toilet, washbasin, shower, washing machine and drying space. The cloakroom, kitchen and lounge are all located on the first floor of the holiday cottage.

Downstairs we have 2 bedrooms. Bedroom one is a large room with a double bed, a sofa bed and enough room for a cot. There is a Freesat TV with a DVD player in this room. Bedroom two offers two single beds. The bathroom is shared by both bedrooms offering a bath, overhead shower, washbasin and a toilet.

Outside we have a BBQ for al fresco dining.

Visiting Trecastle & Exploring Powys

We are ideal for seeing a range of attractions and great places to visit, including The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-Hir. Of course, seeing the highest mountain in southern Britain is a must as well as exploring the Brecon Beacons where there are great walking and cycling opportunities. Located in Llangorse you will find Llangorse Multi Activity Centre where there is a range of indoor and outdoor activities available including abseiling, rock climbing, zip wires, BMX riding and horse riding. Attractions to visit include:

National Showcaves Centre for Wales.
Brecon Mountain Railway.
National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Castell Carreg Cennen.
Craig-y-Nos Country Park.
