Dumbretton Holiday Cottages

Summary

Dumbretton Farm Cottages are a collection of three self catering holiday cottages nestled within a 400 acre dairy and beef farm. Each of the holiday cottages is tastefully decorated and well furnished throughout and command beautiful countryside views towards Cumbria. Each cottage can be booked individually or together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

The Cottage

This was once the herdsman's cottage with three bedrooms making it a suitable choice for families. The property is all on ground floor level with oil central heating and comprises:

Lounge/Diner with electric feature fire, free view TV and DVD Kitchen/Diner: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box and washing machine. Bedroom 1: A family room with double bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2: With full-size bunk beds Bedroom 3: With full-size bunk beds and single bed. Shower Room: With shower enclosure, WC and washbasin.
Shared games room equipped with pool table, football table, table tennis and dart board. Shared play area with picnic tables and equipped with lots of activities for children. Outbuilding with shared use of tumble dryer. Off road parking for 2 cars. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included.

The Barn

Property has oil central heating and comprises:

The Loft

Property has oil central heating and comprises:

Shared play area with picnic tables and equipped with lots of activities for children. Play equipment is displayed in the adjoining garden for children to enjoy.

Outbuilding with shared use of tumble dryer. Off road parking for 2 cars.

Visiting Annan & Exploring Dumfries and Galloway

Annan is a great base to explore the local area. The main town of Stranraer with shops and many amenities is a short drive away. The picturesque harbour at Portpatrick is also reachable by car. Within a short distance, there are many beautiful gardens, golf courses, beaches and secluded coves. This corner of Scotland is a wonderful discovery for those who have not yet been here and for those who have, a place to come back to time and again.

Dumfries & Galloway is home to many historical landmarks that are well worth a visit during your stay. Such places include:
