Cloister Park Cottages are based in the charming hamlet of Frithelstock offers outstanding self catering accommodation in two properties. Cloister Park Cottages are close to Great Torrington in North Devon and are an ideal place for a tranquil and relaxing break in this lovely part of the country.

Accommodation

Once a Vicarage, Cloister Park is an 18th Century Grade II listed house surrounded by a large garden. The two self-catering cottages are in the former stables to the house. Both cottages are fully equipped and include free WI-FI.

The Stables

This wonderful property sleeps up to 4 people in two ground floor bedrooms: a double en suite and a twin room. A main bathroom comes with a shower over the bath. Relax in the cosy living area with open plan kitchen which is on the first floor so that guests can enjoy the beautiful rural view. Outside there is an enclosed patio with a table and chairs for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

The Coach House

This cosy cottage sleeps 2 in an upstairs king en suite room. Downstairs there is a lovely open plan living/kitchen area with a TV/DVD player. A patio area outside has a table and chairs, great for a morning coffee whilst savouring your surroundings.

Visiting Frithelstock & Exploring Devon

The nearest town is Great Torrington, which has a Pannier market, gift shops, pubs and cafes. Great Torrington is also proud of it’s link with the Civil War history. Torrington is also the home to RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.

The Tarka Trail is one mile down the hill. 30 miles of its 180 miles is traffic free between Braunton and Meeth, using the old railways of North Devon, perfect for cyclists and walkers. The diverse beaches of the stunning North Devon coast are not far away including Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe, Croyde and Instow to name a few. Cloister Park Cottages is also a perfect base for walkers to explore Dartmoor, Exmoor and the South West Coastal Path.

Rates: £320 to £600 per week depending on season.
Maximum of 6 people when both cottages are combined.

Pets: Small to Medium well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement only. Please contact the owner. One pet per cottage only. Please note that dogs cannot be left unattended in the cottages and must not be allowed on the furniture.
