Summary
School Farm Cottages offers self catering accommodation in Cratfield, set in beautiful countryside. We are based on a small family farm in Suffolk’s gorgeous Blyth Valley and just 15 minutes from the market town of Halesworth.
Accommodation.
We have 4 cottages to choose from. All the cottages can be combined to sleep up to 12 people, great for families and couples. Sofa beds can also be provided. Onsite we also have a games/conference room that is also perfect for presentations and seminars. Close to the cottages fishing is available and onsite we have a football pitch and play area for children.Each cottage comes with a TV, DVD player and stereo speaker system with CD/DAB radio and Bluetooth. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a single oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge with top freezer compartment (extra freezer space in the games room kitchen).
North Cottage
Our cottage sleeps 4 in 1 king room, 1 twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge. Patio doors open to the garden and play area. The cottage has connecting doors to Swan Cottage to sleep 6 plus sofa beds.Swan Cottage
This cottage sleeps 2 in two beds that can be made as a super-king bed. There is also a sofa bed. The upstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath.Silverleys Cottage
Our cottage sleeps 4 in a 1 king and 1 room with a single bed and full-size guest bed underneath. The single-level cottage has a wheelchair ramp access and a disabled access wet room. Patio doors open to the garden.Bell Cottage
This single-level cottage sleeps 2 in a twin that can be made a super-king. There is room for a cot or a child’s rollway bed. There is wheelchair-friendly access and a disabled access wet room.Visiting Cratfield & Exploring Suffolk
We are ideal for walking and cycling, with lots of routes in the area. Halesworth market town has a range of shops, places to eat and arts centre. The surrounding area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and cyclists. There are plenty of other towns to explore such as Aldeburgh, Southwold, Walberswick and Lowestoft. Attractions to visit include:Orford Castle.

Pleasurewood Hills.
East Anglia Transport Museum.
Southwold Pier.
RSPB Minsmere.
