The Old School stands on 4 acres of land and it has been converted to provide 3 self catering holiday homes. The holiday homes are just outside the village of Carrbridge and just 7 miles from Aviemore, Inverness-shire. This is the ideal destination for a peaceful and relaxing getaway within stunning countryside.

Miss Mackintosh's Classroom

This former classroom has its own private entrance and hallway leading to large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, from which you can access a shower room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and all crockery and utensils you will need for your stay. The lounge has a wide screen TV with surround sound and iPod docking station/CD/DVD player.

There is a feature spiral staircase which takes you to a bright and airy upper landing giving access to the one double and one twin bedroom (the twin beds can be zip and linked to provide a super kingsize bed on request) and another bathroom.

Mrs Clark's Classroom

This self catering property can sleep 4 people in a double and twin room. The accommodation is an open plan like Miss Mackintosh and is well equipped with a wide screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player, iPod docking station etc.

The Staffroom

This single storey property can accommodate 4 people in a master en suite and a twin room. There is an open plan living room which has a wide screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Visiting Carrbridge & Exploring Inverness-shire

There is much to see and do in the local area, including canoeing, windsurfing, skiing, golf, quad biking, horse riding, bird watching or indeed walking or cycling.

The Moray Firth Coast is half an hour away and here you will find sandy beaches and colourful harbours. Dolphins and porpoises can often be seen off the coast.

If you want to stay onsite then you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub and sauna which have wonderful views over the Cairngorm Mountains.
