Budleigh Farm Cottages

Summary

Budleigh Farm is situated in the beautiful Wray valley on the edge of Dartmoor, offering fabulous self catering accommodation. Our cottages in Moretonhampstead have been beautifully converted from granite farm buildings and onsite there is an outdoor heated swimming pool, target shooting facilities and tuition and archery facilities.

Accommodation

There are seven self catering properties available in a beautiful part of the country. Accommodation consist of:

The Linney:

Sleeps 4 adults + 2 children. One double bedroom. One twin bedroom. One small bedroom with a child's bed and a built in cot. A spacious living / dining area with kitchen section at one end. A bathroom with WC.

The Stable Flat

Sleeps 2 adults. One double room. A bathroom with WC, shower and bath. A living/dining area with kitchen section attached.

The Range Flat

Sleeps 3. One master bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. A living/ dining area with a bed-settee. A bathroom with WC. A separate kitchen.

The Granary

Sleeps 4-6 adults in a double, twin and a unique raised gallery which has two single bed. A comfy living area upstairs. A shower-room with WC. A dining / kitchen area downstairs.

The Flexi

Sleeps 4 adults. Plus a sleeping loft for 2 teenagers. One spacious twin room. One double room with a shower and WC en suite. A small raised gallery with twin beds suitable for, say, teenagers. A large living / dining / kitchen area with wood-burning stove. A bathroom with WC. A door, usually closed off, connecting to the Link flat - ideal for more room.

The Link

Sleeps 3. A master bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. A living room. A shower room with WC. A large kitchen with dining table. A door, usually closed off, to link up with the Flexi, thereby increasing space if required.

The Studio

Sleeps 2. A large living/sleeping area with four-poster bed and wood-burning stove. A bathroom with WC. A kitchen.

The heated pool is available for all our guests. It is open from May to September and is kept between approximately 76 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on weather conditions.

Visiting Moretonhampstead & Exploring Devon

Budleigh Farm is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It lies within the boundaries of the Dartmoor National Park with its rolling hills, many topped by craggy granite tors. The high moor, with its stone circles and granite stone age rows is five miles from the farm and a fifteen minute walk along the cycle track from the farm will take the visitor to the historic market town of Moretonhampstead, which is a focal point for local culture and arts.
