Summary

The Storehouse offers self catering accommodation located on the outskirts of Dolgellau in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Our lovely holiday cottage is an excellent base for those wishing to explore the many fabulous walks that Gwynedd has to offer.

The Storehouse

Our holiday cottage is laid out on three levels. The upper floor comprises of two double bedrooms, toilet and a shower. The middle floor has a large lounge with a 16 foot wide picture winder overlooking the river as well as an open fire. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, gas cooker, washer and dryer. There is also a lovely large conservatory leading to the breakfast balcony which has superb views over the extensive gardens and river. The lower floor has a double en suite bedroom, kitchen and a triple bedroom with 3 single beds. There is also private off road parking.

Local Area

The town of Dolgellau is set in the southern part of The Snowdonia National Park, at the foot of the Cader Idris (Cadair Idris) mountain range with three main routes to the summit. Another very popular walk bike ride starts from the town car park and runs nine miles along the old railway line to Barmouth on the coast. This is The Mawddach Trail (or "Llwybr Mawddach" in Welsh).
