Only 150 metres from the shore Tamarix is a family quality bungalow situated in a no-through road, and set in a large fenced shingle and grassed garden. It is ideal for those looking for a quiet and comfortable self-catering accommodation to enjoy a tranquil break along the stunning Sussex coast. Sleeping four, the cottage can be used for a wonderful family holiday or just a peaceful break for two.

Holidays are on a weekly basis only in high season, but short breaks may be possible at other times. Pets are welcome by arrangement.

Accommodation

Inside:

The accommodation comprises - a living/dining room with sofa, armchairs, dining table and chairs, TV/Freeview unit, and radio. There's also a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, built-in electric oven and hob, and fridge with ice box compartment, whilst the utility room contains the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms:

There are two bedrooms: the first overlooks the rear garden and has two 3' beds, together with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The second bedroom, which overlooks the front garden also has two adult sized 3' beds. There is also room for a z-bed (suitable for a child) in this bedroom. This second bedroom also has a built-in wardrobe, and drawers.

The newly refurbished shower room has an electric shower in the walk-in shower enclosure, toilet, and hand wash basin with a mirror over, together with an electric shaver point.

Outside:

Off-road parking is available for three cars.

Availability:

Short breaks are sometimes available in low season at £100 per night with a minimum of 3 nights. Please contact us for availability. Tamarix is available to hire from Easter to the end of October each year.

Visiting Rye & Exploring East Sussex

The Tamarix Self Catering cottage is located only 150 metres from the seashore, where the beach is shingle at high tide, but sandy at mid to low tide. Tamarix is situated in the corner of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, which offers many opportunities for walking, bird watching and cycling. The ancient towns of Rye and Winchelsea are nearby, with many more interesting places within easy reach.

Low-season short stays for a minimum of 3 nights are priced at £100.00 per night.
