Accommodation

We offer accommodation for up to 16 people plus 2 people, ideal for large groups, family holidays, celebrations and team meetings. The barn offers lots of original features including stone flagged floors and oak beams. There is underfloor heating.

We have a kitchen which is fully equipped with a double oven/grill, electric hob, microwave and dishwasher. There are 2 under-counter fridges, 1 under-counter freezer and a separate fridge/freezer in the adjacent barn. Housed in the utility room are a washing machine and drying rails. The dining hall has a large antique mahogany dining table.

Bedrooms are on the ground and first floor. On the ground there are 2 family rooms. The first has a king bed, 2 single beds and 1 single futon. The second has a double and 2 sofa beds. The first floor/hayloft bedrooms have 1 double en suite and a family room with 3 single beds and 1 sofa bed. In the lounge, there is a double sofa bed.

We have a south-facing garden, perfect for relaxing in when the sun is out.

Visting Carsington & Exploring Derbyshire

You can explore the local area whilst staying with us. Only 5 minutes away is Carsington Water. Within a 30-minute drive are the towns of Bakewell and Chatsworth. Activities in the area include golf, fishing, cycling and walking. There are lots of National Trust properties to see or you can take a trip on a steam train. Attractions to visit include:

Kedleston hall.
Taddon house.
Black Rocks
