The Mill Barn

Summary

The Mill Barn offers fantastic self catering accommodation in the Somerset village of Keinton Mandeville. Our barn conversion boasts wonderful views of green fields and Glastonbury Tor. Local shops are a short walk from us and the town of Somerton is a 10-minute drive away.

Accommodation

Our barn conversion sleeps up to 4 people and is surrounded by countryside.

We have an open plan kitchen/dining/living space to suit all your needs. The space comes with oak flooring and a wood burner for those chill days. Double doors from the living area open onto the patio. The well-equipped kitchen includes a range of appliances: with cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, plus a kitchen island. A utility room houses a washer/dryer and ironing facilities.

On the ground level, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs there is a twin room that can be made into a king-size double. The rooms come with pure cotton bed linen.

Outside we have a patio with a table, chairs and BBQ for al fresco dining while savouring the views. A sun lounger is provided and a lawned garden surrounds the barn.

Visiting Keinton Mandeville & Exploring Somerset

Keinton Mandeville has a shop, village hall, pub and two farm shops, all within walking distance from us. There are plenty of pubs serving tasty food close to The Mill Barn. The old market towns of Castle Cary, Somerton, Wells and Sherborne are nearby. There are lovely walks and bike rides to enjoy in the area. Attractions to visit include:

Glastonbury Abbey & Tor.
Wells Cathedral.
Cheddar Gorge.
Montecute House.
Lytes Cary.
