Summary

Heronview is a riverside self catering apartment just a ten-minute walk from the centre of the Roman town of Alcester in Warwickshire. We are situated in a great location for fishermen, theatregoers and those that enjoy the countryside. Stratford-upon-Avon is within comfortable driving distance and is full of history and culture.

Our aim is to provide a place that feels like a home from home. The holiday apartment includes:

Visitors have shared the use of the riverside facilities, including a pergola, covered sitting area with fire pit, with our 16th Century black and white thatched cottage.

Visiting Alcester & Exploring Warwickshire

The town of Alcester has plenty to see and do. Visitors can enjoy the town's history in the museum, local ales in the plentiful pubs, diverse taste in restaurants and cafes. Waitrose is ten minutes walk away as well as bijou shops and charity outlets to delight shoppers. Stately homes, Coughton Court, the National Trust property linked to Guy Faulks and the gunpowder plot and Ragley Hall are great for outings.

Walkers can explore the Arden and Heart of England Way and Oversley Wood and Cold Comfort Wood on the doorstep. Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham and the Cotswolds are nearby.
