Summary

Hillway Lodge is a charming single storey property offering self catering accommodation on the grounds of Hillway Farm. Much of the farm is ancient, upland oak woodland. The holiday cottage has amazing views down to Withypool Common and it is about a 40 minute drive from the Somerset coastal town of Minehead. This is a stunning location to stay within the Exmoor National Park which is packed with outdoor activities.

Holiday Cottage

The holiday cottage can sleep 6 people in 2 twin rooms and a double. The double and 1 of the twin rooms have access to a south facing balcony which has views of the garden and beyond.

Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen that has a fridge, cooker, dishwasher and microwave oven. In the open plan living room, there is a TV, DVD player, CD player, books and games. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Visiting Withypool & Exploring Somerset

The holiday cottage provides the perfect base for walking, riding, birdwatching and painting. There is a village pub, shop and Post Office just a mile away. The scenic coast is just a 20 minutes’ drive away and offers gorgeous cliffs and beaches along with great spots for surfing. Also within easy reach are:

Wimbleball Reservoir.
Doone Valley.
Dunster Castle.
West Somerset Railway.
Lynmouth and Lynton linked by their funicular railway and a range of famous gardens.
