Summary

Hop Pickers Rural Retreats have 4 unique properties. A 17th Century Barn, Log Cabin, and luxury glamping in the Shepherds Hut and Bell Tent. Set apart on the 9-acre family farm, in a rural location at the end of a no through road. This is in an ideal location for exploring Worcestershire and Herefordshire and the many attractions and places of interest it has on offer.

Hop Pickers Barn

Inside this luxurious converted barn, you will find exposed stonework, vaulted ceilings, and stripped beams.

The living space is open plan. Panoramic views can be enjoyed through the full length windows. In the living area, there is a large, comfy, L shaped sofa and an armchair, a 40” flat screen TV, DVD player, and music system. The dining area has a solid wooden table with seating for 8. The fully fitted kitchen includes all the facilities and utensils you may need during your stay.

The Barn can sleep five people. A spacious master with an additional single bed and a double/twin room. For your comfort, quality cotton bed linen is provided with fluffy bath and hand towels. High chair, cot and stairgate are all available on request.

The family bathroom has a P shaped bath with overhead shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a seperate WC and hand basin with a large radiator and coat hooks.

Outside is an enclosed terraced patio/garden where there is a BBQ and outdoor seating.

The barn has its own private hot tub, located at the end of the stables with views across the paddock.

Hop Pickers Hideaway Shepherds Hut

Tucked away in the woods and with views of the Malvern Hills, the hut provides luxury glamping for 2 people with an ensuite shower room, king-size bed and log burner.

The fully fitted kitchen has a fridge/small freezer, oven and hob. Other luxury facilities available include underfloor heating, wood burner, TV, DVD player, high speed Wi-Fi and Roberts radio.

Outside is a decking balcony with seating, fire pit and a hot tub with views across the Shetland pony’s field. The enclosed garden provides a peaceful location where you can fully relax and let the dog roam freely. A private parking space is available.

Hoppickers Cabin

This is nestled in a quiet corner of the old orchard and enjoys extensive lawns surrounding the property, providing plenty of room for children to run around. There is an enclosed garden area which gives those with dogs or small children peace of mind. Our award-winning accommodation has an open plan living area with Scandinavian log burner, 40” smart TV and high speed Wi-Fi access. The dining area has seating for 4 and the fully fitted kitchen includes everything you need.

Outside is a paved seating area with Ratan style outdoor furniture and a BBQ. A separate decked veranda has an electric jacuzzi style hot tub. This provides a great place to dine al fresco and an enjoyable place to relax at the end of a busy day.

Just One Bell Tent

This is a luxury fully furnished bell tent which stands alone raised from the grass on wooden decking. Enjoy the space of your own enclosed area and a converted rice trailer kitchen and outside bbq. There is a fire pit, perfect for star gazing and a table and parasol to feast at, or simply dream the hours away under the trees in the hammock.

The short 2-minute walk through woodland takes you down to the inside shower room and toilet with a small kitchenette which connects to the shared games room.

Hop Pickers Retreat

Plan your next family celebration and book the whole site. Make the most of exclusive use of our fantastic facilities. Our games room can host group dining with tables set to seat up to 15 guests. Our diverse range of properties provide the perfect setting for a multigenerational group and in the summer we can provide a large gas BBQ to enjoy outside in the extended Barn garden. We can organise local yoga instructors for a group session or even a local caterer for afternoon tea and celebration cakes. Whether it’s a joint birthday, retirement or special wedding anniversary we can be sure to welcome all ages for a family retreat to remember for years to come.

Visiting Leigh & Exploring Worcestershire

The properties are in the village of Leigh which features a historic English Heritage Court Barn which has free entry. Halfway between Malvern and Worcester and only 20 minutes from junction 7 of the M5. Worcester city is well worth a visit, it is best known for its cathedral, Worcestershire sauce and porcelain. Malvern has stunning walks on the hills and a great selection of independent shops and cafes.

If you would prefer not to go anywhere there are many activities available from the doorstep. The surrounding area is a paradise for walking and cycling. There are 3 walkable pubs (from 1 hours walk across country) Many local restaurants now offer delivery at a small additional charge.

Wild swimming is available a short walk up the lane at ‘Escape to the Lake’. Keen golfers have a choice of courses with Bransford being less than 2 miles away. It is approximately 3 hours from London or Manchester making a great place for friends to meet in the middle.
