The Old Chapel

Summary

The Old Chapel dates back to 1870. Today it provides self catering accommodation situated in the Cumbrian village of Talkin. This is close to Brampton. The local pub and golf course are close by.

The Property

The ground floor of the chapel is centred around a staircase that leads to the upper level. It features a spacious lounge with a gas wood-burning stove situated in a stone and beam fireplace. Continuing through leads to the rear entrance and utility area equipped with a sink, fridge, and microwave, connecting to the kitchen and dining room. This area extends into the entrance hall and front door.

Upstairs, the curved staircase opens onto an open-beamed landing. Here, a generous bathroom with a corner bath and shower is situated between two large bedrooms, each furnished with double and single beds and offering ample cupboard and wardrobe space.

Visiting Talkin & Exploring Cumbria

We are in a great location for discovering Hadrians Wall, the Lake District & the Eden Valley. There are various points of interest to visit in the area such as Wild Water Kingdom, Gage Park, Windermere, the World of Beatrix Potter and Wray Castle.
