lavendar Lea offers charming self catering accommodation in the New Forest. We are based near Landford and have a beautiful 3 acre cottage garden with a pond and gentle falls amongst some beautiful flowers, shrubs & trees, perfect for an idyllic break in Wiltshire.

Accommodation

Our beautifully furnished lodge is a paradise for nature lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life. The lodge is surrounded by 3 acres of lavender fields which regularly attracts buzzards, pheasants, deer and foxes, offering a truly authentic rural retreat.

On the ground floor, there is an open plan living area with an electric ’coal-effect’ fire, Freeview TV, DVD player and French doors leading to the garden. This is a great spot to unwind in after a day exploring the area. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Two lovely bedrooms are available: a double en suite and twin en suite. All bed linen is provided and there are two bathrooms.

Outside there is a seating area with garden furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Visiting the New Forest & Exploring Wiltshire

Lavender Lea is situated within 1 mile of the Northern Edge of the glorious New Forest with its acres of natural beauty of heath and woodlands and famous for its free-roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys and foraging pigs. The lovely ancient city of Salisbury with its magnificent cathedral is just 12miles away. Southampton with its fantastic West Quay shopping mall and leisure complex also offers easy access to the Isle of Wight and is just a short distance away. Great attractions to visit include:

Salisbury Cathedral.
Stourhead.
Stonehenge.
Longleat.
Lacock Abbey.
