Located on the peaceful fringes of Huggate, Northfield Lodge is situated on a tranquil farmstead. Huggate, known for its traditional charm and as the highest village on the Yorkshire Wolds, surrounds the property, which offers breathtaking panoramic views across the wolds to the east coast.

Northfield Lodge presents three distinct, luxurious, self-catering holiday units, available for booking either individually or collectively, accommodating up to 12 guests, where family and friends can be together but have their own separate space.

Cowdale Cottage - Sleeps 6

This sumptuous, spacious cottage accommodates 6 guests, featuring three ensuite bedrooms - 1 Superking zip and link bed with ensuite shower room, 1 King size bedroom with ensuite shower room and 1 twin room with ensuite shower room, a large, sunny living room, a dining kitchen and a south-facing terrace equipped with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. 3 night minimum stay. Dog friendly.

Rabbitdale Barn - Sleeps 5

A luxurious, newly converted barn that accommodates up to 5 guests in two ensuite bedrooms - 1 Superking bedroom with ensuite shower room and large free standing bath, 1 large twin with ensuite shower room and 1 sofa bed in the sitting room - this room also has its own ensuite shower room. Large living room and country style dining kitchen. Outside there is a hot tub to relax in after a day out exploring the area. The barn showcases exquisite interiors, including stone-flagged and oak flooring, underfloor heating and upscale, designer decor. 3 night minimum stay. Dog friendly.

Blacksmith's Shop - Sleeps 2

This is a secluded, romantic getaway for two, perfect for special occasions. The Old Blacksmiths Shop has been meticulously renovated to blend rustic charm with contemporary luxury, it is adorned with designer fabrics and furnishings. There is a kitchenette, super-king bed with large luxury en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower and a free standing bath. There is also a hot tub outside to unwind in. Breakfast in bed delivery is available. 2 night minimum stay. No pets in Blacksmith's Shop.

Pizza!

Guests can order homemade woodfired pizzas with a selection of toppings, freshly prepared around 6pm and delivered directly to their accommodation.

Classes

The Lodge also offers a variety of classes for guests, organised by Anna and other specialised instructors. These include wire sculpting, art lessons, sourdough bread baking and art. Pamper days can also be organised with a private beautician & we also offer Hatha Yoga sessions with a private instructor, all can be tailored to enhance your stay.

The Area

During your visit to The Northfield Lodge, you'll find an abundance of activities to enjoy. The renowned Woldsway footpath is conveniently located just outside, offering immediate access to scenic walks. Additionally, the charming village of Huggate and The Wolds Inn, a classic pub known for its delicious food and quality beer, are both within easy reach.
