Jasmine Cottage is an ideal retreat for families and larger groups, comfortably accommodating up to five guests across two levels. The ground floor features a bright and spacious open-plan living room and kitchen, highlighted by exposed wooden beams. The well-equipped kitchen includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and all the utensils and appliances needed for a full self-catering experience, whether you’re preparing a quick snack or a Sunday roast. A dining area, perfect for shared meals and socialising, completes the space. The ground floor also includes a family bathroom and offers entertainment options with rural-strength WiFi, a TV with Freesat and a DVD player, all enjoyed from comfortable furniture.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features a King Size bed, ample storage and space for a cot, while the second bedroom sleeps three with a double bed and a single bed, providing plenty of room for guests and their belongings. Both bedrooms are bright and airy, enhanced by skylights that offer views of the star-filled night sky, thanks to the low light pollution in the area.

The clean and modern family bathroom includes a shower over the bath, a WC, a washbasin, a heated towel rail, and a shaving socket, ensuring all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. You are welcome to wander around and relax in the gardens of Chideock Grange, including the small River Winniford on the edge of the estate. A recreation and information room is provided with pool, table tennis and other family table games, DVDs and books.

The nearest beach is only two miles away, part of the beautiful Jurassic coast. A pleasant walk from the estate across the fields takes you to Seatown, via Chideock. There are many miles of footpaths to explore, including the fine coastal path with its breathtaking views.

There are many other attractions within easy reach, including ones at Dorchester, Weymouth and Portland Bill, plus Bovington with its famous Tank Museum, the Swannery and gardens at Abbotsbury, children's entertainment at Crealy and Monkey World and a host of fine houses and gardens open to the public.
