Wadhayes Farm Holiday Cottages are located on our family-run farm in Devon. We are at the end of a private lane in Awliscombe and only 3 miles from Honiton. Our cottages are perfect for those who want a country break away, whilst being less than a 20-minute drive to the coast.
Apple Tree Cottage
This cottage has been specially designed for those with limited mobility. Outside there is a patio area in the garden with a full set of garden furniture including a table, chairs and parasol. On the ground floor of the cottage is:Open plan living/dining room.
Wi-Fi, wall mounted TV, DVD player.
Well-equipped kitchen.
French doors giving access to the garden.
Double bedroom.
Good sized wet room with heated towel rail.
Underfloor heating.
Stairs lead from the hallway to the main king-size bedroom and two single bedrooms. A family bathroom is also on this floor.
Pear Tree Cottage
Designed to offer flexible accommodation and suitable for those with limited mobility. Outside there is a patio area in the garden with a full set of garden furniture including a table, chairs and parasol. On the ground floor you will find:Open plan living/dining room.
Wi-Fi, wall mounted TV, DVD player.
Well-equipped kitchen.
Single bedroom.
Good sized wet room with heated towel rail.
Underfloor heating.
Upstairs there is a master king-size room, twin room and family bathroom.
The Stables
A cosy cottage, ideal for a family. Outside there is a patio area in the garden with a full set of garden furniture including a table, chairs and parasol. On the ground floor of the cottage there is:Good sized living room.
Wi-Fi, wall mounted TV, DVD player.
Wetroom with shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
Well-equipped kitchen.
Bathroom with shower over the bath.
Underfloor heating.
Stairs lead up from the living room to a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed.
All the properties have use of a separate games room shared between the 3 cottages. There is also a shared laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer which hasn’t been mentioned.
We are able to supply stair gates (top and bottom of the stairs), high chair and travel cots in any of the cottages as required at no extra cost. We also have a BBQ that can be borrowed and one z-bed that can be requested.
Pets are very welcome at Wadhayes and we have ensured that each cottage has an enclosed rear garden so that your dog has somewhere to go off the lead. When you arrive, we will give you up-to-date information about where on the farm it is safe to walk with your dog. Wadhayes is a working farm of approximately 80 acres, and we want you to be able to enjoy this space and beautiful location. However with cattle, sheep and a working collie dog we hope you will appreciate that any dogs coming to the farm will need to be kept on a lead and therefore under control at all times. This is for your safety and the safety of your dog.
Visiting Awliscombe & Exploring Devon
The village of Awliscombe is in a lovely, rural part of Devon. It is only 3 miles from Honiton and an easy drive to many attractions and places of interest. There is course fishing in the village open seven days a week and trout and course fishing within the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.You will never have a dull moment during your stay or find that you are short of activities or places to explore. In the local area you will find:
