Each of our beautiful holiday cottages come fully furnished and well equipped for any stay, whether it’s a long or short one.
The Granary
The Granary is a conversion of the old former roundhouse and grain barn whilst still retaining as much as its former life as possible with the roof trusses being left exposed. The roundhouse, as the name suggests is semi circular in shape and is where the horses would walk around to drive the machinery but is home to the sitting and dining area. The Granary can sleep up to 8 and consists of four bedrooms, 2 doubles upstairs and two twin guest rooms downstairs. We have included dormer windows in the upstairs bedrooms to give extra space and better views which are of the rolling countryside and Hartland across the valley.
Adjoining the Granary is a 2 acre field which visitors are free to use for outdoor games. Outside there is also a patio area with BBQ.
The Stables
The Stables has been traditionally converted from the former old stable block, using oak sourced from our farm to blend in with older material and now offers self catering holiday accommodation for up to 6 people. The Stables is the best of the conversions for viewing the barn owls that have nested for the last 3 years in a shed opposite.Upon entering our property, just off the entrance hall is a downstairs shower room with spacious power shower, toilet and hand basin. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and tumble dryer and dining table and chairs. Off the kitchen is the sitting room with patio doors leading to a patio area. The sitting room has an electric effect wood burning stove. The first floor landing has a double bedroom and 2 further twin bedded rooms. There is also a family bathroom with power shower, bath washbasin and toilet.
The Linhay
The Linhay is a conversion of the former cart and grain store that still retains its original oak posts and now offers self catering accommodation for up to 4 people. There is a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen dining area and exposed timbers in the sitting room; this property is not short on character or history. The kitchen comes with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and tumble dryer and a dining table and chairs. There is then a step down to a hallway which has a spacious shower room with power shower, wash basin and toilet. Off the hallway is the sitting room with exposed roof timbers and patio doors leading to a patio area. The sitting room has a wood burning stove and leads to the two bedrooms, one double and one twin room.
There is a two acre meadow across the farm track which is ideal for games and children to play in.
