The Old Coach House offers self catering accommodation in Aldwark near Matlock. Our two bedroom cottage dates from 1686 and is the perfect base for exploring a range of attractions in Derbyshire.
Our cottage is beautifully furnished and sleeps up to 6 people. On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen/dining area with a range of appliances to suit all your needs: electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. The lounge is a cosy place to relax in and comes with an open fire/log burner, wooden beams, jukebox and Freeview TV.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom and room with bunk beds that can also be single beds if required. A temporary bed and an extra double sofa bed are also available. Both rooms share a fully equipped bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside there is a private garden which enjoys delightful views over the open fields. There is a field around the back of the property suitable for dog walking, or you can bring your horse (we do not have stables though). Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided.
