Wellwood Lodge offers self catering accommodation sleeping 12-14 in the historic and cultural spa town of Buxton in Derbyshire's Peak District National Park. Our holiday home has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout providing a true home away from home for guests.

Accommodation

This self catering holiday home is a wonderful place for groups of friends or families to stay. It has recently had a bespoke handcrafted oak staircase installed which rises through the heart of the house. The huge 31ft lounge offers a wonderful space for gathering together. Newly laid wooden flooring adds a touch of sophistication and chic to the room. The fully fitted kitchen leads to a Victorian style conservatory and dining room with square table that seats 12 to 14 making it the perfect setting for celebratory feasts.

There are 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms They are spacious and tastefully decorated, with one of the rooms having a 4 poster bed with en suite shower room.

Our ethos is to provide a venue where families and friendship groups can meet up in a spacious, warm and well equipped house with every modern facility, comfortable beds and seating, conducive to relaxation and enjoyment of each other’s company. There is a games room for guests to use and enjoy during your stay.

Outside of the holiday home to the rear, is an enclosed terraced garden with a lawn and patio with 2 picnic tables seating up to 16. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Visiting Buxton & Exploring Derbyshire

It is the perfect accommodation and location for family and friends reunions, hen parties and rambling groups. Walk or drive into the varied landscape of the Peak District National Park, where rugged moors and pretty dales offer an abundance of activities from rambling, hiking, cycling, climbing, caving and fishing.
