Summary

East View Cottage provides delightful self catering accommodation on the outskirts of the charming village of Eyam. Our 17th Century cottage in the Hope Valley is only a short walk from a pub, shops and attractions, perfect for a memorable stay in Derbyshire.

Accommodation

Our cottage sleeps up to 5 people and features beamed ceilings and log fires. The cottage is finished to a high standard throughout.

On the ground floor, we have a well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen with a Lacanche range cooker, Le Creuset pans and vintage Hornsea china. A utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, toilet and sink.

Unwind in the lounge after day exploring. Facilities include a TV with Netflix, a mini sound system, OS maps, books, puzzles, some children’s toys and local information.

On the first floor, there are two cottage bedrooms. The double room has period features and a flexible triple room with 3 singles that can be made as a super-king or a king and a single bed. Both rooms have window seats and share a family bathroom. Pure cotton bed linen is provided.

Visiting Eyam & Exploring Derbyshire

Our cottage is perfect for discovering all that the Peak District has to offer. There are lots of Derbyshire villages, stately homes and historic sites to see. Visit Hardwick Hall or walk along The Monsal Trail. You can also visit Longshaw estate. Attractions to visit include:

Haddon Hall.
Kinder Scout.
Eyam Hall.
Ladybower.
Eyam Museum.
