Summary

Wetton Barns offers charming self catering accommodation in the picturesque village of Wetton. The 6 cottages are in a shared courtyard, ideal for bigger groups of up to 30 people looking to holiday together. However, the cottages can be booked individually as well. We are based near Ashbourne in Derbyshire and just a 40-minute drive from Chatsworth house

Accommodation

All the properties have been converted from traditional stone barns. Each cottage comes with lots of features, including wood burners, beams and vaulted ceilings.

We offer a range of sizes to choose from, with the largest sleeping 8. All the cottages come with a living/dining room with a table and chairs, television with Freeview, DVDs and books. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer. Cot and highchair are available upon request. Bed linen and towels are included and we provide basic amenities to get you started.

Outside there is a shared patio and garden, ideal for al fresco dining. You can also enjoy views of the Peak District countryside.

Yew Tree Cottage:

Sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin. Both rooms share a family bathroom. There is a kitchen/dining/living room.

Well Cottage:

Sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin. Both rooms share a family bathroom. Sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin.

Redhurst Cottage:

Sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin. There is a kitchen with a dining area, a separate living room and a family bathroom.

Hallows Cottage:

Sleeps 4 in 1 double and 1 twin. Both rooms share a family bathroom. There is a kitchen/dining/living room.

Thors Barn:

Sleeps 6 in 1 double, 1 twin and 1 ground floor twin. There is a ground-floor bathroom and a family bathroom. Rooms include a kitchen and a dining and living room.

Larkstone Barn:

Sleeps 8 in 1 double, 1 twin, 1 ground floor twin and 1 bunk room. There is a kitchen and dining area. Rooms include a spacious living room, family bathroom and ground floor bathroom.

Visiting Wetton & Exploring Derbyshire

Our cottages are in a great position for exploring the area. Right next door to us is a pub, The Royal Oak, and a shop is just 5 miles away. You can visit Pooles Caverns which offers expert guides through limestone caverns. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers, the UK’s largest theme Park. Attractions to visit include:

Cromford Mills.
Thor's Cave Walk.
Dovedale.
Thorpe Cloud.
Carsington Water.
