Accommodation

We have 4 cosy lodges to choose from, all surrounded by gorgeous scenery. They are a haven for nature lovers looking to escape from the pressures of modern life. You can choose from Barngarth, Field End, Wood Bank and Craig View, all of which share the acre of orchard with the ancient apple trees and the stream which opens out to the raft pool.

Each lodge has a spacious sitting room with a wood burning stove and Freesat HDTV. The kitchen and dining areas open off this. Barngarth, Field End and Wood Bank has a fully fitted kitchen with a combination microwave oven, dishwasher, four ring hob, fridge and all the usual utensils and crockery. Craig View Lodge has a kitchen with Iroko hardwood worktops, a ceramic hob, built-in fan oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, full-size freezer and all the other usual kitchen equipment.

Barngarth, Field End and Wood Bank come with three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with twin beds and one with a set of adult sized bunks. Crag View Lodge has 2 king-sized double rooms and a bunk room with built-in full-size beds, including a master room with French doors that lead to the decking area.

Barngarth, Field End and Wood Bank have a bathroom with a bath/shower, whilst Crag View Lodge has a bathroom and shower room with underfloor heating.

The lodges share the laundry, games room and play area. The laundry room has a washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and large freezer.

Visiting Eskdale & Exploring Cumbria

We are in a brilliant location for exploring the area, with lots of gorgeous scenery perfect for relaxing walks and cycle rides. You take a scenic trip on the Ravenglass & Eskdale steam railway which runs directly behind the site or enjoy a great day out at the Hawk & Owl Centre. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Scafell Pike.
Muncaster Castle.
Fold End Art Gallery.
Ravenglass fishing village.
Ravenglass & Eskdale Miniature Railway.

Rates: From £530 to £1250 per week.
Electricity via a £1/£2 coin-op meter (Please bring a good supply of coins) which is set at a rate of 38p per unit. We preload the meter with a few pounds for your arrival.
Pets are welcome.
Maximum of 6 people in each of the lodges.
