Patterdale Hall Estate offers superb self catering holiday properties on a magnificent historic Lake District estate. The location is stunning and is set at the southern tip of Ullswater in the Lake District National Park, making for an idyllic break away.
Accommodation
Nestled between the foothills of Helvellyn and the shores of the lake, the estate is ideally suited to those who enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We have a plethora of stunning lakeland walks on our doorstep and we’re the perfect central location from which to tour the entire Lake District. You can use our private foreshore for boating or fishing, amble along our private Victorian walk up Waterfall Woods to Lanty’s Tarn or relax in our private lake view picnic and play area.Lodges
The gorgeous pine lodges are situated on a sheltered site with ample space for children to play and for your own barbecue. Central parking is available for up to two cars per lodge, within metres of the lodges themselves.The lodges provide a living room with dining area and 40” TV. A separate, fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher. Three bedrooms comprising of a double, twin and bunk room. The bedrooms share a family bathroom.
Lakeview Lodges
Our premium lodges are nestled on the lakeside fields and enjoy stunning views of Lake Ullswater and the fells that surround us. Inside there is a lovely living room with a TV that enjoys wonderful views. You can rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of excellent appliances.The bedrooms offer a mixture of king, twin and bunk rooms. The bedrooms share a bathroom and outside there are shared lawns and grounds to enjoy.
Chalets
The chalets have been purpose built to provide comfortable family holiday accommodation, sleeping between 4 and 5 people. They are found on a beautiful sheltered site surrounded by trees with a large area of lawn providing ample space for children to play and for your own barbecue. Parking is provided for up to two cars per property only metres from the chalets. Inside the chalet is a living room/dining room with a kitchen, plus beautiful bedrooms and a modern bathroom.Bothies
These beautifully converted bothies are ideal for two people being cosy and well appointed. They share their own fantastic private walled garden with picnic tables and room for your own barbeques. There is parking nearby for one car per bothy. The ‘Crock Boy’s Bothy’ & ‘Gardener’s Bothy’ each comprise of a living room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with electric shower, sink & toilet. They also include snug mezzanine style bedrooms.Lishman House
Our fantastic house is spacious and boasts 4 large bedrooms, sleeping 8 people. Bedrooms consist of one king with ensuite, two doubles and one “spare” room which has 2 doubles and a top bunk. On the ground floor there is a large sitting room with a toasty wood burner, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and an outside toilet. Outside there is a garden for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.Visiting Glenridding & Exploring Cumbria
The estate is within easy walking distance of some of the most famous fells, Helvellyn, St. Sunday, Dollywaggon Pike and Place Fell to name but a few. Our holiday homes are located in idyllic surroundings perfectly situated to enjoy water activities, tour the area or just indulge yourself away from the stresses of modern life.The nearby villages of Glenridding and Patterdale are each a 10 minute walk away and provide local shops, pubs and eateries. Alternately why not visit one of the nearby towns which are a short drive away:
Pennrith.
Keswick.
Ambleside.
Windermere.
Kendal.
