Accommodation

Our Victorian Lakeland house sleeps up to 4 people and is stylishly furnished throughout. The property is big enough for families or great for 1 or 2 couples. Guests receive complimentary leisure facilities at The Salutation Hotel.

On the ground floor, there is a dining room with a gas wood-burning stove and oak dining table. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a Nespresso machine and a walk-in larder housing a freezer.

The first floor has a cosy lounge to relax in. There is a marble fireplace with a natural coal effect fire, smart TV, DVD player and Bose Bluetooth speaker. A double bedroom offers garden views and the bathroom has a shower over the bath.

On the second floor is a double en suite with a super king bed and views over Ambleside towards Loughrigg Fell. A single room offers garden views.

In the cellar, there is room for hanging outdoor gear, a washing machine and an additional fridge freezer.

Outside we have a small seating area to the front. The rear of the property has a paved area in the garden with a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining.

Whilst staying with us you can explore Ambleside. The town is home to gourmet restaurants with European and Asian cuisine to enjoy. Lots of pubs and bars serve local brews and good food. There is a butchers, greengrocers, art shops and grocers. Attractions to visit include:
