Blandswath Cottage is spacious and comfortably furnished holiday cottage that is located on the banks of the River Eden and is only a 5-minute drive from the centre of Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria. Our holiday cottage can sleep up to 6 people and is in an ideal location for exploring Cumbria.

The living room has a multi fuel stove and comfy sofas. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a utility room that has a toilet, hand basin and a washer/tumble dryer.

Our kitchen, living and dining room are well equipped with all the facilities and utensils you may need during your stay.

The 4 bedrooms are upstairs and are made up ready for your arrival. The bedrooms are set up as 2 doubles and 2 single rooms, a travel cot and high chair are available, but cot bedding is not included.

Outside in the garden is a children’s slide and sandpit as well as garden furniture and a BBQ. This is a great place to relax with the family on those warm summer days.

Blandswath Cottage is situated in The Eden Valley, the hidden jewel in the crown of Cumbria. Lying between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks the Eden Valley offers uncrowded space amidst beautiful rolling countryside. Anglers fishing the River Eden can walk from the cottage to the banks in just a few minutes (please bring your own fishing permit).

Rambling, cycling, bird watching, golf and fishing are just a few of the outdoor activities available to guests. There are many walks in the immediate vicinity of the cottage. There is little need to drive. The nearby footpaths take in river, woodland and fell scenery. Just a few miles south, along a scenic route, is the old town of Sedbergh with its narrow, cobbled streets.
