Thoughtfully designed with an open-plan layout, these apartments offer a great base to explore the beauty of Cornwall. Both are equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and recently updated kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The layout of both apartments is identical. Upon entering, a hallway guides you past the ground-floor bedroom and bathroom, leading into the combined living area. The kitchen, featuring a double electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, is to the left as you step into the living space, which is comfortably furnished with sofas. An LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player completes the lounge area. A staircase along the wall leads to the mezzanine bedroom, while the full-glass facade at the front of the apartments opens onto a balcony with breathtaking views.
Please note that Apartment 5 is accessible via level ground, while Apartment 13 requires navigating a few steps. Both apartments have a small 4-inch step to enter and access the balcony.
The ground floor is finished with stylish floorboards, while the stairs and mezzanine are carpeted for added comfort. Apartment 13 also boasts a slightly larger balcony.
Porthtowan's Blue Flag beach is renowned as one of the UK's top surfing spots, with its wide stretches of white sand and dunes. The village name, derived from the Cornish words "porth" and "tewynn," translates to "Cove of Sand Dunes." A popular summer destination, Porthtowan is nestled on Cornwall's north Atlantic coast, close to other notable attractions. The village offers a variety of amenities within walking distance, including a mini-market, beach cafe, the Blue Bar, Moonmaids Ice Cream Parlour, a hair salon, and surf hire. This area of North Cornwall also provides direct access to scenic cliff walks and offers incredible views from the balconies, making it a perfect retreat.
