Camel Quarry House near Wadebridge offers stunning self catering accommodation, nestled in an idyllic location along the Camel Estuary.
Our outstanding house is ideal for a truly special getaway. The house boasts amazing 360-degree views of the Camel Estuary from the living room and is luxuriously furnished to the highest standards. Fabulous touches include a live-in housekeeper, a hot tub to soak your troubles away in, gardens designed by Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Mary Reynolds, two barbecue areas and private boat mooring.
Our striking and ecologically conscious building enjoys minimalist and tranquil interiors, combined with modern furniture sourced from bespoke artisans. Unwind in the living room in front of the open fire or catch your favourite show in the media room which offers Netflix.
The fully-equipped kitchen is great for home cooking and the outside BBQ areas come with seating, great for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting. You can also let off some steam in the gym, with a boxing bag, running machine, rowing machine and selection of weights and mats provided.
In total there are 4 king-size bedrooms with en suite facilities. 2 flexi bedrooms on the ground floor can be made as singles or kings.
Two kayaks and two stand-up paddle boards are available on request.
We are in an ideal location for exploring the area, with lots of great activities and attractions in the area. You can enjoy a scenic bike ride on the Camel Trail or head into Padstow, famous for Rick Stein’s restaurants, bakery, deli and fish and chip shop. Unwind on Daaymer Day Beach or enjoy a great day out at The Camel Creek Adventure Park. Attractions to visit include:
