Merthyr Farm Cottages offers quality self catering accommodation in traditional Cornish granite cottages, nestled in in the unspoilt village of Morvah midway between St Ives and Lands End. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and ideally situated for visiting most attractions in West Cornwall. You can enjoy as busy or as relaxing a holiday as you wish!

Accommodation

The cottages are near our farmhouse and look out over our fields towards the sea. They enjoy both sea and rural views and plenty of fresh bracing sea air! All the cottages are well equipped, tastefully furnished and comfortable. The kitchens are all electric. They also all have an outside garden area, garden furniture and parking.

4 Bedroomed Cottage – Sleeps 6 adults and 2 children

Our bright and welcoming larger cottage has 2 double rooms, a twin bedded room and a room with bunk beds. The upstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath and there is a separate shower room. The 2nd toilet is downstairs in the utility room. The kitchen/diner has a range of units and a walk-in pantry. There is central heating throughout and a multi-fuel stove in the sitting room.

3 Bedroomed former Village School – Sleeps 6 adults and 2 children

This large and stylish conversion has 2 double rooms and a further spacious bedroom with twin beds and bunk beds. Please note the bedrooms are in a separate area of the building. Upstairs in the bathroom there is a shower over the bath. A separate shower room and the 2nd toilet is downstairs. There is a good sized kitchen/diner with plenty of storage space. The living room has a galleried landing and a multi fuel stove. There is central heating throughout.

2 Bedroomed Cottage – Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children

Our smaller cottage comes with a double bedroom and a twin room. The bathroom is upstairs and has a shower over the bath. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a dining area and comfortable sitting room. The cottage has NSH and also a multi fuel stove in the sitting room. Outside there is room to sit out, eat or just play!

Visiting Morvah & Exploring Cornwall

We are just off the coastal road between St Ives and Lands End in a peaceful location. There is easy access onto the coastal path and also glorious inland walks over the Penwith Moors. The seasonal coastal bus stops at Morvah and our local beach is less than a mile away (and is dog friendly all year). There are many and varied attractions in the area and lots of nice places to eat to suit all pockets.
