They date back to the 18th Century and are perfect for families and friends looking to stay in Co Clare. The village of Kilmurry is a short drive from Sixmilebridge and is within comfortable driving distance of many attractions.

Accommodation

Our luxury lodges are on a private 38-acre estate. Guests can enjoy the riverside walk, Victorian cottage garden, explore the orchard or go boating on our lake. Fishing is available on-site. We have 2 lodges and a cottage to choose from.

The Stables:

Sleeps up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a disabled toilet. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has a double and single bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 bunk beds. The living room has a wood-burning stove, 4 piece suite, satellite TV and free broadband internet connection. French doors open out onto a private patio. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen that includes an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave oven, Iron and ironing board.

Lodge 1 & 2:

Both lodges are similar in layout, refurbishment and accommodation. The entrance hallway leads to the living/dining room, which has a wood-burning stove. French doors open out onto a private patio, lawn and woods with views and direct access to Castle Lake. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a full range of kitchenware provided, including an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave oven, Iron and ironing board.

Each superior lodge has two bedrooms upstairs as well as a bathroom with a bath and shower. Five people can be comfortably accommodated and a cot can also be provided. The master bedroom consists of a double queen size bed and a single bed with beautiful views of the lake from the window. All bedrooms have been furnished, equipped and decorated to a four-star standard, with duvet quilts and pillows provided for all beds. Other linen provided includes sheets, pillowcases and towels. The Twin Bedroom consists of twin beds, with an en suite bathroom with a shower.

Visiting Kilmurry & Exploring Co Clare

The village of Kilmurry is an excellent location from which to tour the dramatic west coast of Ireland. The area abounds with excellent golf courses, which range from within 10 minutes to one hour's drive from the lodges. Championship golf courses in the area include Lahinch, Doonbeg, Ballybunion, Shannon, Dromoland, Limerick, Limerick County, Adare and East Clare. During your stay you can visit attractions such as:

Bunratty Castle.
Cragganowen.
Ennis.
Limerick.
The Burren.
