Our 5 properties in Ayrshire each come their own unique characteristics, the perfect choice for families or groups wishing to truly escape the pressures of everyday life.

Balcraig House

Our house is based on the south wing of a country mansion and sleeps up to 10 people, ideal for a ground getaway. Inside there is a spacious lounge with a TV and DVD player, plus a dining table for 10. The newly fitted kitchen comes with an electric hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, washing/dryer. You can also unwind in the spacious conservatory that has a TV and DVD player. Bedrooms consist of 1 king en suite, 1 room with a double and 2 singles and a further room with a single and twin. Outside we have garden furniture for al fresco dining.

Rabbie Burns Lodge

We offer accommodation for up to 16 people in Rabbie Burns Lodge, made from Scottish timber for a woodland feel. Inside there is a spacious lounge with a TV and DVD player, plus seating for up to 16 people. The newly fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge, freezer compartment to fridge, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine. In total, there are 7 bedrooms: 2 double en suites, 4 twins and 1 bunk room. Outside there is patio furniture.

Doonans Cottage

Our newly built detached cottage sleeps up to 6-8 people and is nestled on the edge of Balbeg Wood. Inside there is a spacious lounge/dining room with a TV and DVD, plus a dining table. The newly fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and toaster. Bedrooms consist of 1 double en suite and 2 twins. Outside there is patio furniture.

Foxglove Cottage

We offer accommodation for 4 people in Foxglove Cottage. Inside there is a lounge with a TV and the newly fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and toaster. The dining room has a table and chairs. Bedrooms consist of 1 double and 1 bunk room. Outside there is patio furniture.

Balbeg Cottage

Our cottage has been beautifully renovated and offers views across the valley. The kitchen/dining area sits just back from the lounge and has a newly fitted German kitchen with a fridge/freezer, range cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. Unwind in the lounge that seats 8 and includes a wood burner, TV and DVD player. Bedrooms consist of 2 twins and 2 double en suite. There is a family bathroom and outside the enclosed garden comes with a patio and garden furniture.

Our estate has woodland walks, a play area and a nature pond to enjoy.

Visiting Straiton & Exploring Ayrshire

Our properties are in the perfect position for exploring the area. Visit the historic castles of Culzean and Blairquhan or enjoy a day out at the seaside country town of Ayr, home to sandy beaches, bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. You can play a round at one of the golf courses or enjoy a picturesque walk. Attractions to visit include:
