Clan Cottages offer 5 luxury self catering cottages located in the small village of Dalnabreac. This is only 4 miles from the town of Oban. The cottages are laid out like a small Celtic settlement sitting in a five acre smallholding. With truly breathtaking surroundings, this is the perfect choice for anyone holidaying in this area.

Clan MacKinnon

(Sleeps 6): Entry hall, bathroom with spa bath, king bedroom (en suite with his and hers sinks), 2 twin bedrooms, open plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area. A door leads onto front garden with views overlooking the loch, Crannog, open fields and surrounding hills.

Clan MacKenzie

(Sleeps 2): Entry hall, luxury shower room and WC. king bedroom, open plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area. Stairway leading to the mezzanine room which is a luxurious lounge area which overlooks the downstairs living area and is the perfect relaxation room, especially for the romantic at heart. Views overlooking the loch, Crannog, mouth of the river Nell, open fields and surrounding hills.

(Sleeps 4): Entry hall, bathroom with spa bath, king bedroom (large en suite with his and hers sinks), twin room, open plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area. Views overlooking the loch, Crannog, the river Nell, open fields and surrounding hills.

Clan MacNeil

(Sleeps 4): Entry hall, bathroom with spa bath, king bedroom (en suite with his and hers sinks), twin room, open plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area. Spectacular views overlooking the river Nell, open fields and surrounding hills.

Clan MacDonald

(Sleeps 4): Spacious entry hall, large shower room and WC with wheelchair access, king bedroom (en suite), twin room, open plan fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area. A door leads onto a large decking area overlooking the nature pond. Also, spectacular views overlooking the River Nell, open fields and surrounding hills.

We are now Cat 2 Assisted wheelchair access in 1 of the cottages and allow pets in 2 of the cottages.

Visiting Dalnabreac & Exploring Argyll

Dalnabreac is a small village which lies at the southwest end of Loch Shiel. This area has beautiful walks around Kilmore which are steeped in history dating back to the bronze age. There is a Crannog in the loch in full view of the cottages. Within walking distance, is a Neolithic Chambered Cairn at Dalineun.

There are many other historic landmarks which can be found in various publications written about Oban, Kilmore and Kilbride.

Nearby Oban has plenty of amenities from pizza restaurants through to a distillery.
